Comparison of coannihilation effects in low-energy MSSM
نویسنده
چکیده
The neutralino relic density is calculated in the low-energy effective Minimal Supersymmetric extension of Standard Model (effMSSM). The slepton-neutralino, squarkneutralino and neutralino/chargino-neutralino coannihilation channels are taking into account. The comparative study of these coannihilations is performed and demonstrated that all of them give the sizable contributions to the reduction of the neutralino relic density. It is shown that the predictions for direct dark matter detection rates are not strongly affected by these coannihilation channels in the effMSSM.

Gluino Coannihilation Revisited
Some variants of the MSSM feature a strip in parameter space where the lightest neutralino χ is identified as the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP), the gluino g̃ is the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP) and is nearly degenerate with χ, and the relic cold dark matter density is brought into the range allowed by astrophysics and cosmology by coannihilation with the gluino NLSP....
متن کاملNeutralino Dark Matter in SUSY-SU(5) with RH neutrinos
In the context of low-energy Supersymmetry (SUSY), a model of Grand Unification (GUT) with right-handed (RH) neutrinos, based on the group SU(5), is discussed and its implications for neutralino dark matter (DM) are studied and compared with the constrained MSSM. RG effects in this model modify the sparticle spectrum such that the WMAP limit on the DM relic density cannot be satisfied for small...
متن کاملExact Cross Sections for the Neutralino-Slepton Coannihilation
Coannihilation processes provide an important additional mechanism for reducing the density of stable relics in the Universe. In the case of the stable lightest neutralino of the MSSM, and in particular the Constrained MSSM (CMSSM), the coannihilation with sleptons plays a major role in opening up otherwise cosmologically excluded ranges of supersymmetric parameters. In this paper, we derive a ...
متن کاملGluino Annihilations and Neutralino Dark Matter
We consider supersymmetric scenarios, compatible with all cosmological and phenomenological requirements, where the lightest SUSY particles (LSPs) are the neutralino and a quasi degenerate gluino. We study the neutralino relic abundance, focusing on gluino (co-)annihilation effects. In case the neutralino is bino-like, in a wide mass window the relic abundance is naturally driven in the correct...
متن کاملSupersymmetric dark matter after LHC run 1
Different mechanisms operate in various regions of the MSSM parameter space to bring the relic density of the lightest neutralino, [Formula: see text], assumed here to be the lightest SUSY particle (LSP) and thus the dark matter (DM) particle, into the range allowed by astrophysics and cosmology. These mechanisms include coannihilation with some nearly degenerate next-to-lightest supersymmetric...
